There’s more to health care than shots and surgery. The School of Health Professions offers 19 different academic degree programs, making it the most diverse school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and one of the largest schools of health professions in the nation.

As a direct reflection of our students’ hard work and dedication, the school’s first-time licensure and certification pass rate is 96 percent. In addition, the school has a 100 percent job placement rate with 88 percent licensed to practice in Texas.

Additionally, our Doctor of Physical Therapy and our Master of Occupational Therapy programs rank first and third in the nation, respectively, based on students and alumni nationwide.

These two programs along with physician assistant studies, speech-language pathology, audiology, athletic training, health care administration, clinical laboratory science and many others consistently attract a high number of applications. School of Health Profession faculty not only provide challenging educational opportunities for our students, but they are also world-renown researchers and clinicians, too.

For more than 25 years, we’ve been innovative leaders in prevention and rehabilitation. With your generous gift, we can continue to positively impact health care through our diverse range of specialties — no needles required.
