The Permian Basin is home to those seeking a better tomorrow. Some seek it in the vast oil deposits of the region. We do it by finding ways to improve the quality of health care.
Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center is in the business of exploring new frontiers, and in 1981, we laid claim at the Permian Basin. It was the first campus developed outside of Lubbock. Since then, we’ve provided health care, medical education training and groundbreaking research to the people in Midland, Odessa and the surrounding communities.
Our outpatient clinics are an integral part of the region’s unique profile. With a special emphasis on rural health care, TTUHSC at the Permian Basin caters to the highly specialized needs of this community.
Through the schools of Health Professions, Medicine and Nursing, we’re betting on a better tomorrow, and the payout goes to the people of the Permian Basin.
